Obesity is often seen as a condition where the individual is obscenely larger than most people. The truth of the matter is that, obesity does not necessarily mean that the individual must be extremely fat. Instead, obesity is defined as a physical state where the individual weighs more than he or she should. This definition just about puts a third of the American population under the banner of obese.
