Rodent Ulcer

A slow-growing, cancerous growth that usually develops in middle age affects men more than women and is usually found on the face - often near to one of the eyes.

Rodent ulcers can be treated either by surgery or by radio­therapy. As I have stressed many times in this book it is important to see your doctor about any skin lesion that suddenly develops, that changes size, color, shape or appearance, that bleeds, or that leaks any sort of discharge.
